The Southern Circuit is for the safari goer that is after a different experience where it is still known as the untouched Africa with it is pristine wilderness. The parks are more remote and less frequented by the average safari goer. There are two main parks are Ruaha National Park and Selous Game Reserve the largest protected area in the world. These parks are also known to have the largest number of wild dogs, huge herds of elephant and the perfect place to visit if you are a bird lover. These parks are very diverse they have large forests, open savannah plains and the rivers and the lake systems are also unique in East Africa.
